The Florissant Church of Christ is a congregation of more than 2000 that deeply understands people need the Lord. It is innovative in approaches to telling the world about Jesus Christ and promoting fellowship with other believers to strengthen God's people. DURING THE SUNDAY SERVICE
If you're visiting Florissant Church of Christ this Sunday - WE'RE GLAD YOU CAME!!! Please take time to stop by our Welcome Center in the foyer for a gift that includes a cassette tape of Sunday's message and a welcome folder with information about our congregation. We would also appreciate you completing the attendance card found in the bulletin and placing it in the offering basket so we have a record of your visit.
Feel free to visit and use the INFANT AND PRESCHOOL MINISTRY during all services. Ask any member and they can direct you. There is a silent pager notification system to contact you if your child needs you.
CHILDREN'S WORSHIP HOUR is available for children 3 years through 2nd grade starting at the same time as the adult worship time.
JESUS AND ME SESSIONS (JAMS) is for children 3rd through 5th grade. The Worship Leader will announce the time for those children to go to JAMS. Members in the foyer can direct you and your children to where these services are conducted.
COMMUNION is served each Sunday. It is a time to reflect upon Jesus Christ and what he did for us. We take this time to remember his sacrifice, his death, his resurrection, and his promise. Communion consists of the bread which represents his body and the juice which represents his blood shed for us.
An OFFERING is collected each week as an opportunity for our members to give to the work of this congregation. DO NOT FEEL OBLIGATED TO PARTICIPATE. You are our honored guest.
The following classes are available to those who are new to the Florissant Church Family or those who would like to learn more about the Church.
Class 101 - "Introduction to Our Church Family" - our mission, becoming a member, opportunities for involvement, why we should study the Bible, what the Church is, and benefits of becoming a member.
Class 201 - "Introduction to Spiritual Maturity" - purpose, how to study the Bible, relationship with God, Ministries, and opportunities.
Also join us on Wednesday nights at 7:00 pm for Bible classes - there's a class suited for every member of your family!
