Our Youth Ministry exists to reach the young people of our community, teach them about the love of Christ, help them to grow in their relationship with Him, find their own unique calling in His Kingdom and worship this Holy God with all their might... The Filling Station The name "Filling Station" has a dual meaning. It is the name of our Youth Facility - decorated in Route 66 style (currently under construction), complete with antique gas pump. Spiritually speaking, it is also descriptive of what happens when you attend the Filling Station - that you will be filled (and encouraged) spiritually by the fellowship, fun, Christian music, etc. It is one of the programs in our Ministry designed to reach out to the youth in our community.  Everyone from 7th grade to 12th grade is welcome. Monthly on Friday nights...bring a few bucks for food at the concession stand or soda machines. Retreats The Florissant Youth Group goes on a few retreats every year.  In November, we attend an area-wide retreat for the weekend at Pinecrest Retreat Facility in Fredericktown, MO.  It is an annual favorite with the Teens - great classes, singing, games, etc.  We also go on a Youth Group Winter Retreat each year.  It's cold, but also one of the most meaningful weekends of the year. Annual Mission Trip Every year, the F.C.Y.M. goes on a Mission Trip somewhere in the U.S.  Past mission trips have included Montgomery, AL (Inner-City Ministries), Wilderness Trek (mountain climbing experience), North Canton, OH (Outreach Ministry), Colorado Springs, CO (Service Project). S.N.A.C. (Sunday Night After Church) A great night of food, fun and fellowship for our entire Youth Group.  We gather at the home of a church family and eat dinner, have a devotional, sing and enjoy great fellowship with one another.
